Carnage Once Again

CARNAGE ONCE AGAIN

We all have been horrified by 9/11, and Newtown, and Aurora, and Columbine, and now today in Boston. Sometimes we have wept over the carnage. It is most difficult to believe how ferocious evil can be. Human tragedy should affect all of us who believe in Jesus, and our prayers for God to bring comfort and redemption. Only God can do that. This is a time to mourn with those who mourn.
God has given me something to write. But today is not the time. Perhaps tomorrow. Pray and mourn.

"If there is a decay of conscience, the pulpit is responsible for it.

If the public press lacks moral discernment, the pulpit is responsible for it.

If the church is degenerate and worldly, the pulpit is responsible for it.

If the world loses its interest in Christianity, the pulpit is responsible for it.

If Satan rules in our halls of legislation, the pulpit is responsible for it.

If our politics become so corrupt that they very foundations of our government are ready to fall away, the pulpit is responsible for it."
- Charles Finney

America has forgotten God and Heaven has turned it's back upon America. If anyone still dreams that God is blessing America then he or she has no further to look for the truth than Boston and Newtown. The land is drenched with sin and debauchery and the apostate church is to blame for it.
but that's just me, hollering from the choir loft...
