Only in America can you be
Pro-Death Penalty, Pro-War, Pro-Unmanned Drone Bombs, Pro-Nuclear Weapons,
Pro-Guns, Pro-Torture, Pro-Land Mines, and still call yourself “Pro-Life”.
** John Fugelsang **
And I would add, "Pro-Jesus"?

Sorry Pastor but whatever joy I had today is now gone. As I was reading this post I got an email from The Berean Call with this message:
North Korea: confirmed reports of two Christians shot and tortured to death
And I am now broken and angry at the same time. How stupid is this stuff! How petty and useless! The nonsense is unbearable some days. And when you post something lighthearted others tear it down! when does it stop? My heart is so broken for these men. One didn't have to go back to North korea, but he wanted to share Jesus with his family! And we bicker about nothing! I have to go.
Cherie, I understand the loss of joy, but I want you to look up to your Savior...
...and know that these two brothers are at Jesus' side now. They did not count the cost of suffering for His name's sake, and lost their lives for Him and for the hope of sharing Him with others.
In 1st Corinthians 15:58, Paul wrote that *nothing* we do in Christ is in vain.
Nothing these two brothers did was in vain. There are seeds planted by their faith, their witness, their suffering and their death. Though dead, their witness still speaks.
Do not mourn as others mourn, but look to the Savior on the throne -- your Savior and theirs, the One who saved them and who is now watering the seeds that were planted by His two faithful servants.
Pray for the seeds that they planted! Pray for the people who killed them, for the people who arrested tortured them, for the ones standing by who saw them suffer and die, and for any who hear about them.
Additional communications to me may be e-mailed to spcrick@msn.com. Any negative e-mails will be deleted without response, however sincere questions will be answered. I seek edification and deeper knowledge of Christ and His truth not a destructive and meaningless religious chatter. May God's Spirit open all of our hearts to Him.
I am an ordained Baptist minister but more importantly I am a follower of the Lord Jesus Christ. I was saved in 1975 watching Billy Graham on television after having lived a wicked and Christless life. I graduated with a three year degree from Trinity Bible College in Dunedin, Florida. I have three children, two grandsons, and one granddaughter. I not only see the obvious falling away of the present day church, but I humbly acknowledge that we all are in desperate need of a massive revival. I hope this blog ministers to you, and may Jesus Himself receive all the preeminence!
