Redemption

There is no higher calling than redemption; there is no higher gift than redemption; there is no higher life than a redeemed life; there is no higher God than the Redeemer.

Dr. Billy Graham said that that Pope John Paul II was the most influential voice for morality and peace in the world in the last 100 years.

The Pope calls himself the "Vicor of Christ" which places himself in the place of the Lord Jesus Christ.

In addition, the Pope has shared platforms with leaders with others in various different religions and state they all serve the same god.

Billy has never and does not preach the True Gospel.

All the other subjects in life are meaningless if one is ignorant of the only Gospel that saves.

Therefore, my question is "What is the Gospel."

I was saved in March of 1975 while listening to Billy Graham on television. Billy Graham is indeed a compromiser and has had many unholy alliances. However, the "true" gospel is very simple.

Sinners have been saved under the preaching of people whose presentation of the gospel was different as well as their subsequent doctrines were unbiblical.

Finney, Moody, Edwards, Sunday, Wesley, Whitefield, Graham, and others have been used of God to lead sinners to Jesus Christ. As you can see, those men had very different views of doctrine and presented Christ in different ways.

But the Spirit can and does use people with which we would disapprove. It is called grace. I sincerely doubt that anyone has ever completely presented the unvarnished gospel of Jesus Christ.

The good news (gospel) is this: Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you shall be saved. Jesus, the Son of God, died for our sins and was resurrected from the dead.

(Billy Graham's endorsement of the Roman Catholic Church hasd always been a serious error, but that is not the unpardonable sin.)
