A Warning in Due Season
Yesterday, in one of the voluminous memorial services for the 9/11 victims, President Obama made this statement:
“The past ten years have shown the world that the United States does not back down to fear.”
Really? That is what we take from the 9/11 tragedy? No spiritual warning about the frailty of life and the surety of death, and nothing about Jesus? And with all the hatred and vitriol among politicians, it is interesting that what brings people together is their inanimate love for a country. Idolatry is unifying.
But I want to warn all people who are Americans. You will one bow down to fear before the Great White Throne Judgment. Your only hope of escape is take your eyes off of America and believe on the Lord Jesus Christ!
