Living Water

And so, here we are. We stand in hopeless desperation, and thirsty for something…anything…everything. And if you cut through then glitz and glammer, and all the highly touted human achievements, you still find an empty heart that cannot be satisfied by anything he puts into his eyes, ears, hands, and mouth. Religious orders and disciplines cannot quench that thirst, and philosophies only provide an endless merry-go-round of “what ifs” and “perhaps”.

In the midst of all the technology and information highways and accumulation of material wealth, there still is one fountain, albeit an ancient one, that alone can quench the human longing and make a broken sinner whole.

“In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink. He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.”

“And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.”
