CAN YOU SEE JESUS IN THIS PICTURE?
I am asking everyone to make it a daily matter of prayer for the family and the orphans for the entire month of January.
This family had sold everything and headed for war torn
Sudan in hopes of sharing Jesus with children no one wants. They are being forced to leave without their precious orphans. Their devotion to
Jesus pierces my heart. I am overwhelmed when I read things like this. This is
what is happening all around the world while western believers enjoy air
conditioned rooms and the latest sound technology and expensive pageants. But
if you look closer you may see Jesus has appeared in the photograph. Look at it
closer and pick Him out.
I will give you a hint. The face of Jesus in this photograph happens to be black.
Matt.25:
38 When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and
clothed thee?
39 Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?
40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you,
Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have
done it unto me.

Interesting how the Duck Dynasty want people to see Jesus in them. They feel they are persecuted because they speak out. And when they are criticized by unbelievers and media, they continue to sell their brand in 'entertainment', using the bible as an appendage to keep the ratings high, so they can sell their products. Some christians don't want to see what is so evidently exploitation of the Lord Jesus (mixing His Salvation message with aggrandisement of themselves, being paid sinfully large amounts of money to sell their wares).
Spreading the gospel has become a franchise for greedy people in America; they get away with it because no one calls them out on it. Churches want to jump on their wagons, because they'll be rewarded with tithes and donations. And then we hear about others, who sacrifice all to spread the message, and see the need elsewhere and see Jesus in the midst of war and chaos, not in the midst of a silly war on rich duck callers.

The world is becoming more violent therefore people should seek God's wisdom before going into war torn countries.

Ask Jim Elliot about that. Some people can hear God's voice while other sit and watch.
This topic isn't an easy one. It isn't so clear what our response should be. God certainly doesn't want sincere people to put themselves in danger needlessly.

Needlessly?? Should no one smuggle Bibles and risk their lives? The Bible mentions men who have hazarded their own lives and who counted their own lives not dear in order to reach lost souls. Needlessly? Really? So all the starving children and lost souls in war torn areas are off limits and God will not send anyone there?
These people are heroes of the faith.
Have to agree with Rick. God bless these people. Not only do they know how to die, they know what it is to live fully and fearlessly in Christ.

I think God decides who the heroes of the faith are. Many people can be sincere and unsaved! Many people can be saved and act unwisely. Many can be saved and act wisely. The situation isn't at all clear.
I certainly wouldn't make a decision to take my family to a country that spoke such a difficult language not to mention leaving behind careers and friendships that we have invested precious time in.
In my opinion it's counter logical not to mention needlessly dangerous.

Many here in America will boast "we are the hearoes of the faith" and yet their hearts of full of hatred towards their brothers.
God surely knows who are His as He knows the heart of every man.
Most Christians here in America are uneasy simply hearing the Name of Jesus in everyday conversation, let alone actually DO what He commands us....Matthew 28:18-20......"go therefore and make disciples of all nations."
There is this thought that keeps tugging at my soul and many stand in agreement when it takes a turn verbally..."Perhaps it is time for the born again followers and believers in Jesus Christ to journey to America and share the true Gospel with us, for we have grown obese, covetess, and hard hearted in our religion that claims to know Jesus."
There are many who claim Jesus, yet hate their brothers.
I've done some reading and read the story and can see that the Cambell family are endeavoring to and have been doing some very good praiseworthy work with orphans in addition to looking after their own family.
I see also that they desire to bring their children and their ten orphans out of South Sudan.
May the LORD help them during these very difficult testing times to resolve this complex situation as soon as possible, so that they can all return home and look forward to a bright new future.
Blessings to you,
James
