Peace in the Midst of Storms

Matt.8:23-27 - And when he was entered into a ship, his disciples followed him.
24 And, behold, there arose a great tempest in the sea, insomuch that the ship was covered with the waves: but he was asleep.
25 And his disciples came to him, and awoke him, saying, Lord, save us: we perish.
26 And he saith unto them, Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith? Then he arose, and rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm.
27 But the men marvelled, saying, What manner of man is this, that even the winds and the sea obey him!

The entire world is caught in all kinds of storms. There are numerous wars and battles. Several civil uprisings. Military buildups. Nuclear weapons are spreading. Terrorism. An American election that showcases all kinds of lies. And of course a worldwide economy that teeters on the edge of destruction.

So how can anyone have peace in these turbulent times?

Jesus. Only Jesus.

Thank you, Rick.
I really needed to read this today.
The whirlwind of activity lately has had a rather paralyzing effect on me.
And I know the answer is prayer and God's word.
But sometimes even when we know...we need a reminder.
