God Hits Home Run!

Josh Hamilton, a professing Christian who plays for the Texas Rangers, says God told him ahead of time that he would hit a home run - in a losing effort. Now I do not doubt Hamilton’s faith, but this divine intervention in sports stuff is sad and ridiculous. In the midst of what is going on in the world, God is interested in who hit’s a home run? This is what Christianity has become?

Sad, but true.

Surely, God is pleased when Hamilton
is glorified, for we all know that
the American Gods' main job is to
make man proud of himself. Not!

I really didn't care about the outcome of those games but now...I'm glad that Texas didn't win. What would they have said? God caused it?
He wanted them to win?
Good grief.
