Reject the Lies

REJECT THE LIES

Rom.3: 9 What then? are we better than they? No, in no wise: for we have before proved both Jews and Gentiles, that they are all under sin;
10 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:
11 There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God.
12 They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.

The Roman Catholic Church is a religion that is fraught with falsehoods and even bizarre practices. But this present pope has already shown his damnable lies. In his recent sermon he said that even if atheists do good they are redeemed and will go to heaven. HERE is the link.

Most religious people believe that being a good person can secure you a place in heaven with God. They envision a kind of weighing your good against your bad and then hoping you are more good than bad. This is very common in the religious psyche. But that is religious thinking and not according to Scripture. In fact that is self righteous thinking as well. It minimizes the effect of sin and minimizes the holiness of God. If indeed it were true than why would Jesus have to die?

The entire mental construct of good outweighing the bad is a deception of the evil one. You see the devil loves religion. He rejoices in all the useless activity and moral crusades and denominations. While the church is consumed with prosperity and how to save your marriage and building large debt ridden buildings the devil is busy leading souls to hell. And of course he is also busy deceiving people into believing there is no eternal justice.

There is only one way to gain eternal life and that way is through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. That has nothing to do with how good or bad you have been. Nothing. The Scriptures declare us all unworthy and completely incapable of even presenting one righteous work of our own. Every good work we have done has been tainted by mixed motives and self righteousness. Before God we stand without a shred of holiness, and without holiness no man shall see God. We are in desperate need of something we can never have on our own. We need holiness and righteousness as well as forgiveness. Only Christ can give us what we need.

We are completely reliant on God’s Word for any truth pertaining to all things spiritual. It is true we can see the existence and power of the Creator just by observing His creation, but to understand His nature and our nature and the redemption of Christ must be ascertained through Scripture. Only God can reveal Himself to His creation. And He has chosen the miracle of Scripture through which to teach and instruct us about Him. It must have been an exceedingly difficult task just because the gulf between us and God is unfathomable. How does Einstein teach an ant the Theory of Relativity? You see?

And in addition to that great chasm of intellectual and spiritual capability there was still the matter of sin. But in the continuing display of God’s amazing grace, He gave us the Holy Spirit to teach us those Scriptural truths. But the miracle and even the mystery of it all is that God used the pens of sinful men with which to scribe His eternal Word. Please understand that the truths of God’s Word did not originate when men penned them in Scripture. God’s Word is eternal and is inherent in His very being. But God took His spirit Word and poured it into ink and paper and gave it to mankind. This, my friends, escapes the realm of human understanding and is fully and only comprehended in the realm of faith, which is another gift of God.

I do not believe that men cannot seek God. It is evident they do. I did. But that verse clearly reveals to us the ministry of the Holy Spirit. Many people have sought God in their own strength and with selfish motives. They hope to gain something here on earth, or they desire to appear spiritual to others. But without the Spirit using the gospel, God’s Word, sinners are bound to find a god of their own creation and not the God of Creation.

Matt.13: 45 Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a merchant man, seeking goodly pearls:
46 Who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had, and bought it.

What do men seek? That is a long, long list. Even within the church people seek for all sorts of things. They seek promotion within their firm. They seek good grades from their children. They seek a championship from the kids team. They seek to lose weight. They seek a new house. They seek all sorts of things. Well, how do we know they seek these things? Listen to them speak, and watch how much time and effort they put into these pursuits. What a man hungers after is what a man spends time and effort pursuing. What he truly desires is what he expends his time for.

So if a man was truly seeking the face of Christ and His glory he would be spending uncommon time in God’s Word and in deep prayer and maybe even fasting in order to crucify the flesh and allocate that eating time to this spiritual pursuit. There would be a passion about his schedule that would be overtly different than what the mainstream of church members were doing. But who do you know that you could point to and say that man is almost obsessed with spiritual things and he seeks the face of God with passion?

You see, the reason the man sought and bought the pearl of great price was because he believed it to be of great value. He was seeking goodly pearls but this pearl captured his life and he sold everything and bought it. The application is very obvious. What we truly value is what will consume us, and if it is money and comfort and success then our lives will be spent pursuing those things. And if so, then we will be found in the mainstream of evangelical life. But if we ever see Christ for who He is and much deeper than just within a systematic theology or a statement of faith, then perhaps we may be so capture by His glory and goodness and power and mystery that something deep within us changes. And if that change takes place through the ministry of the Spirit, then nothing can satisfy us but Christ.

And when I say “satisfy” I do not just mean for salvation. Yes, Jesus is the only way to redemption and eternal life. There is no other way. But once the Spirit has drawn us to Christ and we have been born again, is that where we resume our mundane lives? Is there something deeper and richer for the believer who will forsake all and follow Christ? Are there treasures beyond human understanding that will be showered upon that believer who will diligently seek Christ? And if that is so we must now ask the question, “Just what are we doing?” Let us not be satisfied with rebuking false teachers like Rob Bell, Rick Warren, and Pope Francis, but let us press hard after the knowledge of Christ Jesus.

But in these last days do not even entertain the deceptions that come forth from lying lips even though they claim to be Christian. Anyone who says that sinners can be saved without a personal faith in Jesus Christ is a liar and a heretic. Let God be true and every man a liar.

Powerful word. Thank you, Lord.

Just to share something I am struggling with is, trying to 'find' who I am in Christ, without all the fanfare, church dependence, fellowship, and pastoral agendas. Since I've been unchurched and feel like I can't get find peace and joy and true joy with other like-minded christians, sitting in pews next to them, knowing they see me as a 'pilgrim' or a 'backslider' or a seeker of spiritual perfectionism or a nomader who will not give allegiance to a denomination, and see me as undedicated to their system, I can't worship in that atmosphere.

It's difficult trying to find myself, in who I am, at present. I know I am saved, thank the Lord Jesus, but I can't worship without feeling those old heavy banners that I had to carry everytime the church would demonstrate their praises to God. When I search through old sermons from these denominations that I participated in, I long for the times when the Holy Spirit really touched me. Yet, I sense something that isn't quite right in those video clips. What I sense NOT RIGHT, isn't how they worship, because it seems genuine, real and wonderful. But, I sense a sadness, a deep sense of "I can never participate, or be accepted, or be like family" to that crowd. I am a misfit toy on the island of misfit toys that have been rejected, maybe because of my own stubborness, or sin, but the sense I get is, in the spiritual if you will, that maybe these churches have a 'spirit' (which is not of God) of self-righteousness, arrived, holy, specialized (only reserved for them) anointing. It makes the misfit toys who seek, feel rejected, abandoned, unworthy, unclean, unfixable, and hopeless.

If this 'spirit' is in an atmosphere of praise and worship in a youtube video clip of anointed worship, where do I go? Either I'm wrong and I need to change and ask the Lord for why this troubles me, or there is something wrong in today's churches, where a pastor's church service worship is valued as his personal 'pearl of great price' which places him in great standing with the Lord, for all others to see. I sense that these pastors take pride and enjoy being competitive in who can display an anointing more than others. I need God's help in not allowing to 'compare' or look at the outside of anything having to do with 'church'.

Back to my original thought, I yet have found who I can be in Christ when I worship, because I'm still berating myself because I can't "do" it like those others who have so much liberty and uninhibited freedom. Are we coming to a time, as Christ's church, where we will have to seek him all in all, by our own ways, without the scrambled distractions of who we should emulate?

Not only must we search and seek without a 'covering', a shepherd, or saints in fellowship (in close proximity), but we must now learn to individually worship God the way He chooses to have us worship, or rejoice, or be broken. The only mantle now that we must put on is the Lord's mantle, not Elijah's, or Elisha's, or Samuel's, or Paul's, or Peter's, or John's, but one mantle made specifically for us, so that we give no man glory but to God. No man should be exalted, no Rob Bells, no Billy or Franklin Grahams, no TBN stars, or evangelistic wolves, yet EVEN, denominations shouldn't be exalted, small churches should not adopt one way or the highway attitude, all these prideful attitudes layed down at God's altar and stamped on. I believe these last days times require every true christian to break free from the bondage of the Pauls and the Appolos' and the only name used when we speak to others is Jesus. Still, here, we can pray for one another and though all individuals, also are One through Christ Jesus!

Dear J, with all due respect, I was absolutely exhausted after reading your commentary. Our walk with the Lord is not meant to be a heavy burden and it's not complicated. Matthew 11:28-30, 28)Come unto me all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29)Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. 30) For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. Salvation is freedom from bondage. Stay away from all this youtube nonsense. There are a few who teach truth, but you better make sure you already know truth so that you are not deceived and disappointed later when you find out you were. We, as the body of Christ need each other, for iron sharpens iron! Dear J, there is freedom in NOT comparing yourself with others. We (all true believers) are on the narrow path, but at different places in our walk. Your question regarding "who you are in Christ," is simple: we are all sinners in need of a Savior. We are new creatures in Christ; and for the sake of space, Ephesians explains this beautifully. Be careful that you do not over spiritualize your walk. Keep it simple!!!!! Blessings brother!

How do we " find" who we are in Christ?

Whenever anyone is in Christ they are loved and accepted. From God's perspective they have already been found!

Let's be realistic Christians will not be wholeheartedly "accepted" when they seek to worship in places where God isn't truly worshipped in spirit and truth.

Christ is with true believers, so as we exercise patience, His blessing to us, He will bless us so that we glorify God more steadfastly.

Almighty God's highest goal is to make us more Christlke: more gracious, wise, understanding, faithful, hope-filled and loving. All His other plans for our life will only bear bounteous fruit if we make progress here.

J, I noticed also that you did not mention the Holy Spirit once. Are you filled with the Holy Spirit? Perhaps your struggle in trying to "find" who you are in Christ is because you are persuing it in the flesh. No man knows the things of God except by the Holy Spirit. AW Tozer has written a wonderful book called Life in the Spirit. He states, Can two walk together, except they be agreed (Amos 3:3) Contrary to what professing Christians like to think, many of God's people are not willing to walk in perfect agreement with Him, and this may explain why so many believers do not have the power of the Spirit, the peace of the Spirit, and many of the other qualities, gifts, and benefits which the Spirit of God brings. The question is, are we willing to walk with Him in love and obedience? The answer is that we cannot walk with Him unless we are agreed; and if we are not agreed, we will not walk with Him in harmony and fruitfulness and blessing. When you think of the Holy Spirit, think of Him as gracious, loving, kind and gentle, just like our Lord Jesus Himself. And because He is loving, He can be grieved. J, He is our teacher, our comforter, our Counselor, and it is He who will show you who you are in Christ. Blessings!

Am just responding to Anonymous and thanks for the response; and of course your advice is true, but I didn't quite express myself properly, as I was writing in a 'thinking out loud' manner.

Having come out of a church that could be viewed by some as cultish, I must say it's not so easy to just 'stop' a switch and become a healthy christian again. The unhealthy churches today that offer lies and fake doctrines do a number on many believers. It sometimes takes years to unpeel the layers of indoctrination and sometimes abuse, and the spiritual healing can't take place immediately. Some of us have walks today that are marked with grief and need time to trust again.

I was hoping to share my experience in case someone else might feel the same way, in that they could shed light on how they dealt with dissilusion after leaving churches. I wondered if any here, were yes-men like myself, who thought by pleasing men, it was pleasing the Lord. And if there were some who can finally feel they are the man/woman God wants them to be and works through. I was basically saying that I haven't arrived yet at a place where I know if I have any future or a mission for the Lord, having always worked towards other pastor's or church's goals, and not the Lord's goals. I'm struggling with the many confusing doctrines and the sometimes contradictory verses where men see one thing and others, another thing. The healing process is not an easy road, and those who've been used or exploited may take longer to break free from spiritual abuse and bondage. I guess it's pretty evident from my writing that I have a lot more work to do and need prayer to help me walk this walk alone and become the person the Lord wants me to be.

Sorry if I sounded exhausting for some here.

Although we have the Holy Spirit, we can still experience grief, sorrow and at times doubt.

John the Baptist was filled with the Holy Spirit and asked Jesus from prison if He was the one spoken of or should they look for another?

He was clearly under stress and according to the Bible, doubting can be of the flesh.

Please remember that we are still in the flesh and we battle it on a daily basis. Paul wrote often of this. He also experienced pain, fear, anger, sorrow, etc. So we will not always walk in obedience, and we will find challenges to our faith almost by the hour.

To forget that we are still in the flesh and do battle with it can deny two things:

Our Total Dependence upon Jesus, The Word, and God the Father by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Think we no longer sin.

Two very dangerous things to forget. We submit to God daily, we repent daily, we put down our flesh daily, we battle spiritual powers in high places (demons, satan). Brokenness, contrite attitudes (meekness) are part of being under the influence of the Holy Spirit. Our flesh will not yield to God so the Holy Spirit helps. We are by nature a rebellious and disobedient creation, that is why we need a savior. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us. We have an advocate with the Father when we sin. Repentance requires brokenness, so regret and repulsion because we are sinners is a good thing to have. Joy is from the Spirit of God, not self initiated. Happiness is from the flesh, but we feel that too.

Also, those of us coming out of the church system are also in need of correct teaching and truth. We also need to recover from the affects of apostasy.

Peace to all my brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus.

Anonymous to J and to me, Cherie

Your words have an encouraging tone, but they are not edifying.

What you say is true, but you infer perfection even when you say, "we have not arrived.

Paul wrote about the illness of a brother that he praise God did not add to his sorrow. Paul was most definitely filled with the Holy Spirit, but experienced flesh issues from time to time like us all. Just because J has a moment of doubt, or is discouraged does not mean there is no indwelling of the Holy Spirit. We can also suppress Him don't you know.

Although your intention is to encourage, I am afraid that what you are saying imposes a zeal for perfection that we cannot hope to attain in our present condition.

You are looking for clues that may not be there ("you didn't mention the Holy Spirit") and that is not for you to do.

Everyone's walk is different, and because someone doesn't mention the Holy Spirit does not mean they do not have Him. Also, no we should not allow ourselves to have a pity party, but we will fell this way from time to time. Jesus knows our humanness, so please do not make others feel like they need to question their walk because they have moments of uncertainty and sadness.

If you never had these times, Praise God! But others, including myself do from time to time and it is our duty (reasonable service) as brothers and sisters in the Lord to uplift and comfort each other and not to cause further pain. Again, I am sure you don't mean to but you are. And in this type of forum, it is difficult at best to know anything because written words from people can have a completely different intention then what we read into and we must be careful to make sure it is not hurtful, but correction and rebuke with love, and then also use those times to examine ourselves. How we choose to respond is not an indication of indwelling of the Holy Spirit. To say so is wrong and a bit judgmental. You cannot possibly ascertain if someone has the indwelling of the Holy Spirit just by reading a post. If someone feels down and after a time continues in this state, then it is between that person and the Lord. We are only to encourage and correct, but because someone doesn't mention, to your satisfaction, the Holy Spirit, is not edifying or correcting, it is assuming, and although we are to judge those in the Body by the Word of God only, you have no way of knowing if that person produces fruit in their life. That is the only way we can ascertain if a believer has the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. The Word says we will know them by their fruit. If we don't have compassion for the brethren, there is no way we can have it for those in the world. Jesus said to Love they neighbor as thyself. Never said if they were saved or not, but the Word is clear that we are to care for the brethren first then the world.

May the Peace of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ be with you this day.

your sister in Christ Jesus,
Cherie c.

Dear J.: Welcome here in the Name of our Lord. I hear/know just what you are conveying, I think. I'm so glad that the Lord has brought you out from the exploitation and confusion. What you are experiencing is not unusual. Feelings of rejection, shame, condemnation and even anger follow those who break from "the system" but will not endure as you come ever more into the light of Truth and Love. Put it behind, cross over into the new land of promise, where He is your shepherd. His eye is upon you, to counsel you in the way you should go. Fix your eyes now on Jesus. Spend time reading the synoptic gospels. Your future and your mission is simply to allow Him to live in and through you in the small daily moments of the circumstances that He has ordained for you. And yes, you need the Holy Spirit in order to do that.

You might find some help at sites like "The Church Underground" and "Flee from Babylon."

I would say to you gently, that even more vital for you than finding "who you are in Christ," is that you determine to discover Who Christ is IN YOU! He has given us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through His precious promises, that are toward us, "yes," and "amen."

This is a blessed time of intimacy and reality between you and the Lord.
Sending a holy kiss to you dear one,
Victoria

Dear J., My husband and I did go through the kind of experiences you are going through; and yes we are "over" the transition and most of the trauma now.

We were actually "fired" from a "church", with much cursing/slandering following; finding our former brothers and sisters to have been swallowed up into the Kansas City and Toronto aberrations. We were exploited for others' ambitions. You know, all that, just like what you are going through now, is the BEST THING that could have happened to us, because Jesus purchased us for Himself. We are far too loved and valuable to be left forever in man's systems of bondage.

You will have joy and peace and security, because you will have nothing to lose, and will not depend on nor look to man from now on. The Lord shakes everything that can be shaken, so that was is unshakeable is revealed. You have an unshakeable foundation: Jesus Christ the chief cornerstone. Everything built on a false foundation--however "churchy" it may have looked for awhile--He will devastate, in order to build what can never be destroyed and what will glorify Him. I rejoice for you! Eventually you will rejoice too. In the meantime, look for healthy people who will love you and bring blessing to you, even if they aren't professing believers, because I will pray for you for that. He will sustain you through them, but those people will probably not be the people whom you expect.

I am not at all lecturing you, dear J., hoping rather to come alongside you in your difficult time. He has chosen you.

To Cherie and J from anonymous, I apologize if I came across as prideful. That is not in my heart nor who I am. It is only through the power of the Holy Spirit that I have been able to be an overcomer. I am a very compassionate person and understand the struggles because I have been through many of them myself, and no doubt there will be more. But I must tell you, it gets easier and easier when we completely surrender to His will. Being filled with the Holy Spirit IS the game changer because now the Holy Spirit can do in us, what Jesus did for us (Romans 8). Cherie, I try to choose my words carefully, and will admit that I have always been a "straight to the point" kind of person. I will try to be more mindful of that going forward; thank you for reminding me. Please know, that I come from a place of love. But Cherie, it is not unreasonable to ask if one is filled with the Holy Spirit. You either are or are not. And if one is not, then that is something that needs to be prayerfully considered. God Bless!

After reading all the comments I went back to the post just below this one. And looked at the picture and the statement above it. It says "Bear One Anothers Burdens". We can pray instead of posting statements.

Dear Father, I ask that you cover all of us here in this group with the blood of Jesus. Cleanse us so that we may stay in your presence. Lord, I ask that you keep your Spirit within us, that we may reflect the light that can only come from you. The only light that can break apart the darkness that overshadows our fallen nature. Lord, teach us to listen and help those around us. Make us faithful servents to You and for You. In the name of Jesus, I ask this.

Anonymous, true, but a new believer may not yet know if the Holy Spirit is yet active in that person's life, so we must tread carefully when we ask that. Some may not know how to answer that.

Thank you brothers and sisters for your input after my moments of doubts.

I don't want to hijack Rick's post either. After reading it, and knowing exactly how true it is, it dawned on me that we are all to be so discerning now, even if we aren't in churches. We have to discern our own hearts. And this is where I was going with my thoughts. I still had to shake off the last of the old doubts from my mind. from previous church experiences and strivings and teachings that didn't always produce good fruit.

We're all supposed to be a part of the body, in the Body of Christ, and if Bro. Rick were a 'foot', then I feel like I'm a foot too, because everything I read and take in here just goes with my spirit. And because of these truths, proven by scripture and what we are seeing in the churches today, I am very serious about my relationship and walk with the Lord, yet, like many of you may know, we probably get the enemy's attack when he thinks we are pressing in towards Jesus.

I'm going to try to explain what's bothering me. For about 12 years, I belonged to an apostolic holiness oneness pentecostal church. Since then, I've returned to the bible and view the Godhead as it's revealed in scripture and will allow God to reveal himself as the Son, Father and Holy Spirit as He sees fit. So now when I pray, I am trying to keep those images of "Jesus being the Father" out of my head, or keeping away those 'doubts' of turning away from christians who follow the apostolic doctrine. The holiness doctrine (per their view), I've been able to leave as well, yet having adopted a moderate modest lifestyle. Check. Two things I've deprogrammed myself from, thank the Lord.

The third thing, which is the "apostolic" part, is harder to deprogram from. It requires a biblical perspective from true teachers to fill in the voids of God's truth versus the carnal mixed in with apostolic doctrine. and I've yet to find it. I don't know what to think now, can we live a godly life by just believing? Is it just grace? Or grace with works?

When I was baptized with the Holy Spirit, it was such a wonderful experience. It was, to me, like the Lord had imprinted His love in my heart forever. Of course, we were taught that we needed to keep our lamps (like the 7 virgins) filled with oil everyday until the Lord's return. This was meant to signify praying and keeping commune with the Lord and allowing Him to fill us everyday. Of course that takes great dedication, and since being unchurched, I have fallen off that wagon. So, my spirit is dry, and I need help believing He is still in Me even though I don't 'feel' it.

Folks, I am so thankful for you all here, because of your prayers during my surgery I really felt the Lord's ministering to my soul and He gave me His peace through it all and still does to this moment, but I still long to have a deep intimate re-filling (if you will) with Him. I need to shake off all the past and start over like a baby in Christ, maybe, and start from square one. Is relying on the infilling of the Holy Spirit a crutch? Or is it a very necessary experience to carry us through the dark times? When my old pastor taught Acts 2:38 - it convicted me and I was baptized in water and Spirit. But, as men are flesh, those with this special apostolic missive, could become paranoid, judgmental, self-righteous, hypocritical and use scare tactics to keep people in line.

Those who are gifted like the first apostles in Acts, have a huge responsibility to humbly serve God with that infilling, and become compassionate apostles, but many have failed in that. And so my confusion - and wanting to start at the beginning.

Love you all brothers and sisters!

J.

Jackie,

Jesus is God, in human flesh, but He is also the Son of God. A mystery we can only wonder about until we see Jesus face to face. Then I believe we will know all He wants us to know, or we will be so in awe that it won't matter.

In any event, The Word says that getting to know God is to read His Word. Pray for understanding and discernment, and always, always no matter who tells you anything, measure it up to what Scripture says and then let the Spirit lead you to His truth and not man's.

As long as you keep striving to know Him, you cannot go wrong. Keep that flame that passion to know Him alive in you. Like Daniel, who spent weeks just seeking the meaning of his dream, and he continued until his prayers were answered. It is when we stop desiring to please Him, by faith, that we start to slip.

I too go through mountain peaks and low valleys, but no matter what, His Word is where I go for direction. I also seek Godly men to get counsel knowing that the greatest counselor is the Holy Spirit. God speaks to us everyday if we go to His Word everyday. Take heart dear sister, He knows your heart (new heart), and so do I. =D

Just re-reading the post here and asking myself is it any wonder that we, who live in the midst of lies, are feeling like pilgrims?

There is barely any truthful sources to go go, no christian magazine, no church officials, convicted by the Lord, who will cry out and tell us, repent, and say this out of pure concern for souls.

I just checked a christian magazine site and, though I'm sure the article's author is genuinely believing he's doing his part for the Kingdom, it is saddening to read how it's done. The article is a short 'word' by the Lord that we must forfeit our idols, especially those in the U.S. and how the Lord demands that people clean out all idols in their lives. Good stuff.

Yet, the article then goes to on advertise the "book" this author has written on the subject. In order to read what more he has to say, one must "buy" his book. Just click and order.

This magazine site has many good articles in it that can edify, yet, it's editors and creators allow the merchants in the temple to hock their wares (words from the Lord). This is the IDOL that the Lord may be talking about.

Just sharing my thoughts on the matter. With the inter-weaving of lies and false and twisting of scripture and selling of a disciple's (gift of teaching) or the selling of any gifts of the Spirit to the church is downright wrong. Any man who 'sells' what he has to say to the church from a Holy Spirit gifting is dangerous.

Maybe many of these authors are just edifying by the intentions of their own heart - still, they must know deep down inside that it's wrong to ever "sell" what God has to warn a church about.

Not to say that money is not needed to upkeep sites like this and such, and if there is a need, that saints share what they have to help the blogger if they have a need. There's a big difference in an author signing a contract with a publidshing company, using lawyers, printing copies, then selling them, gleaning a percentage of the sales. If Jesus were in the world, as a poor carpenter, He may not even have been able to afford that book, with shipping costs and taxes.

The Lamb of God came and gave his life and blood for us, and would have to buy a blood-bought man's watchman's book to find out what God has to say?

Not only is this man a Charlton, but he gets no word from God that isn't already written.

Why does the Body of Christ look for more when they have the Whole Word of Truth in which to hear God.

If someone, either in writing or to your face says they hear from God, make sure they are referring to His written Word only and not some voice they have heard. If it is a voice walk away because it is not a voice from God but another that you DO NOT want to know.

You want to hear God speak, read His Word. You want to hear the Lord, read the Gospel.

Hebrews 1:1-3

1 God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,

2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;

3 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high:

That's It! No other. We need to spend more time in the Word of God so that we do not become confused by all the rhetoric out there. Especially if you are in a valley or have a moment of doubt. Listen to NO MAN, only the Word of God.

Love to all,

your sister in Christ Jesus,
