His Glory Manifested

There is no glory like the glory of the Risen Christ. All other claims to glory are frauds and counterfeits. Within every believer dwells that glory. We can never be content with the inward dwelling of Him and His glory; we must strive diligently to break the alabaster box of our selfish lives and let those in darkness see and experience His glory living through us.

It is time the world sees a dynamic and authentic level of Christianity that is more reflective of the Sermon on the Mount and the One who preached it. The entire world, from our next door neighbor to those in far away lands, need to see Jesus alive today. Not gimmicks; not success; not bravado; and not the power of the flesh. Where are the self denying, humble, eternity seeking, and powerfully meek conduits of the Savior of the World?

Answer: We are still embracing the cross of Christ but rejecting the cross with our name upon it. We live - He dies. We die - He lives.

Good post. I don't know if you are familiar with them, but this reminds me of a song by the band Sojourn called Lead Us Back. That song leaves me in tears.
