I am going to present a post which
addresses the way the evangelical church has compromised and embraced the Roman
Catholic Church. But before I do I wanted to share my heart.
With all the talk about
the new pope, and all the discussion about the false teachings that come from
the Church at Rome, I want to humbly but forcefully give Jesus praise because
He drew me to Himself and saved my soul. God forbid I should project any
spiritual hubris, and sometimes I cross that fine line. I cannot but speak the
truth revealed in God's Holy Word, but I am a sinner who was so undeserving of
God's eternal grace.
May the Holy Spirit open the hearts of those precious,
precious Roman Catholic people. Paul would have wished himself accursed to see
them saved. May many come to Christ in these final hours. The time is short,
the sickle is coming. Let my light shine much brighter than just an orthodox
doctrine. Please, Lord Jesus.

Amen. I join you in that prayer, Brother Rick.
As I was watching today as the new Pope came out on the balcony and spoke, I, saw a humble man, and saw a crowd of people, young men and women, children, all people, just jubilant and happy. It reminded me of how we might all be when Jesus appears, though it will be so much more than we could imagine.
I thought about how these people were not ashamed, and despite the doctrinal errors that are not found in the bible the RC church teaches, the people are fearful of God, and want to be "right" with God, and are at a place where some of us were a few years ago.
I know a lot of Catholics and they have many strengths that the epistles teach on and the ones I know never had anything but humility and didn't display that hubris that we see in some evangelicals as of late.
As I watched, I had a strong sense to just love these people and pray for them, that they find that Jesus is all they need, I need, everyone needs.
There are many multitudes in the valley of decision and we never know if the Lord would send a revival there. We never know when and how and what might precipitate God to send a rain on every God-thirsty soul.
Thank you for sharing your heart, Rick. All praise to the Lord Jesus, and I also join you and Anonymous in that prayer.
Man in my opinion isn't good at discerning what humility is! What did Jesus say? He said you shall know them by their fruit? Where is this man's fruit leading multitudes?
Anonymous, you write that the people are fearful of God, and that they really want to be "right" with God. Is being besotted with Mary or some lifeless carving or etching on a cross behaviour that honours God?
Why do so many people call this digraceful behaviour being "fearful" of God? The Bible teaches that the fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom. What multitudes worldwide are doing is distancing themselves from God because they are putting their trust in false doctrines and unfaithful leaders.
Truly there are many multitudes in the valley of decision who attend churches.
We do know whom the LORD blesses for He tells us in the Bible what He blesses! Being thirsty isn't necessarily enough. We must not only be thirsty but be thirsty also for righteousness.
We must welcome the unique God of the holy Bible to reveal to us that we must put our faith in the righteousness of King Jesus and His righteous acts on our behalf. He is Our Savior and our faith must be in His perfect atoning sacrifice and not in the lifeless work of man. True enduring revival will occur when individuals sincerely love God as He commands them to love Him.
Praise Him! Praise Him! Jesus, our blessèd Redeemer! Sing, sinner set free and proclaim daily His wonderful love! Hallow Him! Hallow Him! Heaven's glorious God; Highest honor give to His great holy Name!
Praise Him! Praise Him! Ever in joyful song! Praise Him! Praise Him! Jesus, our blessèd Redeemer! For our sins He suffered, and bled, and died.
Praise Him for He our Righteousness, our hope of eternal salvation.
Hallow Him! Halllow Him! Jesus the Crucified, now risen and soon to return to earth.
Sound His praises! Jesus who bore our sorrows. What love unbounded, wonderful, deep and ennobling!
Praise Him! Praise Him! Jesus, our blessèd Redeemer! Redeemed of God loud with hosannas sing, for Jesus, Our Savior, reigns righteously forever and ever.
Crown Him! Crown Him! Prophet, and High Priest, and King! Truly compassionate victorious Christ is coming soon back to earth full of power and glory!
