A PROPHET SPEAKS!
Many “the sky is falling” voices have suggested that this is the most important election in American history. Men like Glenn Beck says this is the last chance to save the country. But what will happen if President Obama is reelected?
I will prophecy something about which you can check its accurately later to see if I am prophet. If the President is reelected not only will the country survive, but the hyperventilating voices of doom in the media will continue to talk and talk and talk and talk and, oh yea, continue to make a lot of money. And I didn’t even need the Mayan calendar for that one!!
On a side note:
I have no political agenda nor do I participate in the process, so here is an observation from someone who remains impartial. Although I do not know her spiritual state, I really am drawn to the First Lady’s personality. She seems so genuine and very intelligent as well as fully invested in her family. And when I hear someone demean and dismiss her, I am convinced it emanates from uninformed hatred.
(Does that make me a liberal, Muslim, communist who works diligently to establish Sharia Law?)
Sorry, not bearing witness to your prophetic ability here.
ReplyDeleteOn a side note...
Acts 5- Sapphira was privy to what her husband did, and she found the same fate...she probably was intelligent, and a good mom too, in some peoples eyes.
I agree that the demeaning and dismissing of the presidential First Family emanates from hatred.
ReplyDeleteFirst Lady Obama is like our neighbor, our children's playfriend's mom, all the giving volunteering women we meet on a daily basis. And I thank the Lord that there are genuine people that I meet like that everyday. I thank God that we live in a civilized society where politicians and their spouses still act kindly and graceful and like ladies and gentlemen. And I thank the Lord for the First Lady Michele Obama. Considering how many other national foreign spouses have behaved in assorted misbehaviors in this century, this POTUS and family are a national treasure.
I would cringe if my child's co-worker, professor, teacher, friend's mom, Sunday school teacher used words like 'limp' and 'impotent' or needing to 'grow a big stick' when referring to males. And more so if these same women claimed themselves to be christians.
I appreciate those who act Christ-like and make others feel comfortable to be around them, care about other's feelings, are easy to work with, slow to anger, make sacrifices, and complain little.
Just because we, as christians, fight the good fight against principalities and strongholds in dark places, doesn't mean we spurn or shun those who live peacably among us. I find it more peaceable to be in the company of those who don't wear their christianity on their sleeves, or those who don't really have Christ as pre-eminent in their lives. There's something askew with political christians today. Some have become almost as vile and base as the 'world' and don't even care how they come across to the unsaved.
Thanks, Bro. Rick, for these insights. If good people aren't appreciated and loved and prayed for, how do christians think that their children or grandchildren are going to cope in a society that mocks, demeans, and judges all the time? (unless the Lord returns soon). The prayers of the last generation saints, who've passed on, are the reason that we today can still function and work alongside strangers. Little do christians know that the saints that travailed and prayed for the souls of men have prevented the evil one from gaining greater access to this world. It's only because the Holy Spirit restrains the evil one that we can live relatively easy now. Of course, we know that things will get worse.
