Its Own Shadow

A SHADOW INSTEAD OF A LIGHT

Instead of seeing a remarkable light, the fallen culture sees its own shadow in the church.

  1. Ouch! Seems that way to me too!

However, the Apostle Paul makes a good point about Truth and the True Believers:

Philippians 1:3 I thank my God in all my remembrance of you,
4 always in every prayer of mine for you all making my prayer with joy,
5 because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now.
6 And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.

In the "man centered" church of America, from the charismatics/pentecostals to the catholic/lutherans, there is a lack of emphasis on holiness, humilty, and purity.... thus the churched are mere images of those we label as "unsaved." And we sit so pious, do we not?

And when you share with a church goer, that our LORD Jesus Christ NEVER came to make us healthy, wealthy, or prosperous, you will be castigated from a haughty pulpit system and mocked by pew sitters who adore arrogant leadership (idoatry). We have fallen hook, line and sinker for the lie. And so life lies in motorcycles, cars, and women (materialism/fleshly desires)as if we were Egyptian pharohs who seek to have our treasures buried with us in our monuments built with human hands designed to worship the "self." Oh, how man loves the praise and adoration of other men as we build alters to people instead of our LORD Jesus Christ in spirit and truth. Who has eyes to see?

May God forgive and have mercy on us as we welcome His Grace upon our small existance.

Let's pray for all people attending "man centered" churches worldwide. Let's never forget that many of them although somewhat spiritually lazy are still desirous to learn about the true Jesus.

May the Lord draw some of these people to this website to be challenged to live more humbly and purely before Him. Let's not forget that we were all unsaved people before the Lord intervened in our lives!

We musn't sneer and point our finger at the unsaved but desire to bring the Gospel to them respectfully. Let's be reconcilers not dismissive rejectors.

Our LORD Jesus Christ is certainly desirous for Christians to be healthy and prosper. He is very interested in our financial situation and the condition of our body, soul and spirit.

    God is good!
