    There it is.

A thought popped into my head. What if any one of our family members or adult children called us up and recounted that they had been stranded on the highway in a blizzard, and a stranger stopped on the highway and took care of them and brought them (out of their way) to a gas station and waited with them until they got a tow truck?

We'd rejoice with them and in our mind thank God for that good samaritan. What if that good samaritan were Hindu or a Muslem?

I know I'd be loving them and praying for them and thanking the Lord for them. I wouldn't be treating them any differently than if they were a christian. I would accept it and take it as an opportunity to pray for that good samaritan every chance I got.

I remember being bullied in elementary school and one boy in my whole class, stood up for me. I was so thankful. One good deed done by anyone deserves praise to God, because the Lord uses those who He will. Sometimes, christians don't rise up to the occasion to help the needy, so the Lord will raise up those He chooses, and it's a true christian's duty to encourage and be thankful and show appreciation to those who do His will. Maybe down the road those who want to help, will have a hunger and thirst for the Lord.

  3. God's spirit is helpful so anyone whether a student of the Koran or any other unholy book will be blessed by Him with a hunger and thirst for truth when they desire wholheartedly to be merciful, for the LORD is committed to bless those who are merciful.

    God is good!

Reine, No they won't. A student of the Koran blessed by God? The Koran rejects Jesus as the Son of God. How can you say that? Unholy books are not blessed by God. They will not find truth in the Koran. How can someone who claims to know God say such a thing? I am saddened by your error.

Dear J., that very same case scenario happened in my life where God poured out His mercy and grace in halping a truck driver stranded by the road with a load of livestock late at night, taking him to the local gas station, and then departing once he was in the care of others more qualified to help. Praise God for His wisdom!

I was criticized and corrected by the "Christian" community for acting on the prompting of the Holy Spirit, for as it was said, "You are foolish for helping a stranger because you could have been attacked or something!" Yes, I could have, but was under the protection of our Father at that moment in time and I knew it.

This past year, I had a mishap happen to me on the road while driving semi, temporarily loosing control of the truck with a full trailor load of corn, driving the speed limit. For a few moments I thought I was going to meet our LORD Jesus Christ as I tried with all my limited abilities to regain control of the wheel. Praise God, Praise God, there was no vehicle meeting me in the opposite lane and by the grace of God, managed to come to a halt on the shoulder of the road; it all happened so fast.

I sat there a few moments, stunned, looking back and asking "What in the world just happened here?" Climbing out of the truck, who could not but help in raising the hands in praise and boldly singing Psalm 150 in honor of our King! It was one of the most refreshing worship times I have had with our LORD this year, to sing His praises unrehearsed and uninhibited, who can brag or boast? Not I.

And while the cars passed me by on that highway, not a soul stopped to inquire as I was picking up the rubber and metal pieces strewn across the highway for a quarter mile. Not one soul; how sad it is.

And as I drove like a worm to the elevator, God knew I needed love poured down on me, and placed the right people who work there in my path to comfort and help me in my distress. Praise Him here and throughout all eternity, O my little soul!

These verses danced off the pages of my Bible while waiting in line to unload our corn......

"There are many who will say, "Who will show us any good?" LORD, lift up the light of Your countenance upon us. You have put gladness in my heart, More than in the season that their grain and wine increased. I will both lie down in peace, and sleep; For You alone, O LORD, make me dwell in saftey."

All GLORY BELONGS TO OUR LORD. Alleluia!

Wow, Anon. 10:39 - what a beautiful testimony. So thankful you were protected by the Lord. I just love hearing of deliverance stories, because He is so real and merciful.

I too had a miraculous road mishap; I was driving down a long steep street and hit ice and the car just started to accelerate and if I put on the brakes the car would have spun out of control, so I just prayed out loud, and said, "Oh, Jesus", as my car spun right through the stop sign - I went right into traffic in that out-of-control helpless way- and not a car hit me, they were far enough away that I didn't get hit on either side, considering it was a busy street and there were always cars coming and going both ways. My car stopped suddenly and I just drove off as if nothing had happened, but inside I was praising God and still clutching the wheel, heart pumping and still bracing for that blow, which never came, thank the Lord.

So very thankful the LORD protected you J. in your trials, and especially that you are here ministering and encouraging many of us who do not have a systematic church to attend.

Where the Spirit of the LORD is, there is freedom to minister in His Name!

    Love you dear sister!

Dear Cherie, God is longsuffering. He only gives man over to Satan totally when we cross a deadline that only He knows. Until that moment is reached He is available to teach man.

Do you really think God stops rewarding His creation when they start reading material that doesn't acknowledge Jesus as the Son of God? God is far more gracious and loving than such an inaccurate understanding of God.

    God bless you.

  9. God will use but not reward or bless religious writings that reject Jesus. The Koran is a diabolical lie which has sent millions to hell. God will not bless it ever.
