Hatred as an Invited Guest

HATRED AS AN INVITED GUEST

Rep. Steve Stockman from Texas has invited Ted Nugent to the State of the Union address on Tuesday. Nugent said that if President Obama was re-elected he would be “dead or in jail”. That is one of the more benign statements from Nugent.

Rep. Stockman said, "I am excited to have a patriot like Ted Nugent joining me in the House Chamber to hear from President Obama," the congressman said. "After the address I'm sure Ted will have plenty to say."

Oh, did I mention that Rep. Stockman is a Southern Baptist? I have no knowledge that the Southern Baptists have approved hatred in the life of a professing believer…yet.

You see, Christianity is now defined by gun rights and moral conservatism and faithful allegiance to George Washington. And a man like Nugent whose rhetoric is so vile and threatening that he was investigated by the FBI last year is a guest of a member of an evangelical church. In 2013 you cannot be a patriot and be a faithful follower of Jesus Christ unless your Jesus is not revealed in Scripture.

Well we're still taking the wild ride down the rabbit hole. Ted Nugent not only is a gun-toting church-goer, he hates vegetarians and animal rescuers like me. Proverbs 12:10- "A righteous man cares for the needs of his animal..."

He just wants the attention to draw attention to himself by threatening the President (IMO). -Noel

Every day just reveals more insanity. All these men, who seek attention, like Nugent, and Donald Trump, they are still men who can be saved. But, when they are lifted up and used as spokesmen and used as influential voices by "christian" politicians, it's easy to see how these could be the last days.

If I turn on the news tomorrow and a Republican pastor turned politician invited Darth Vader to the State of the Union address, I wouldn't be shocked.

If you haven't seen this yet...

I guess the use of this device on other non-military people isn't too far behind. I thought there was a law that the military was not to get involved in domestic affairs? Or is that just another lie?

The body of Christ needs to take a day and just fast and pray. Any takers?
