THINGS I WISH

 
I wish there was no racism in the church.

I wish there was no greed in the church.

I wish the church was filled with humility.

I wish there was no idolatry in the church.

I wish there was no divorce in the church.

I wish the church would love and obey the Word.

I wish prayer was paramount in the church.

I wish the church had allegiance to Christ alone.

I wish there was no immorality in the church.

I wish the church was a friend to sinners.

I wish the church was determined to deny self.

I wish the church was consumed with love.

I wish the church was an instrument of redemption.

I wish the church walked in grace.

I wish the church believed Jesus was the only way to eternal life.

I wish the church was energized toward world missions.

I wish the church was completely concerned with others.

I wish the church had a pronounced heart for the poor.

But most of all I wish I was more like Jesus.
