The Gospel for LGBT
The Gospel for LGBT
Jn3:16 - For God so loved the LGBT world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that every Lesbian or Gay or Bisexual or Transexual that believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
The living God is SO not like us! And thanks be to God that He is not! While we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Lo, what manner of love the Father has bestowed...
And the only way out of bondage to sin and the death sentence that bondage incurs, is through following Jesus in death of repentance, burial of water baptism, and new life in His Spirit! (Romans 6)
Sinners cannot "clean themselves up." Shame on us who would demand that of them.
Pray for us that we will be zealous for sharing the Gospel (the real gospel, which is for sinners and the depraved--not for merely an outward morality that cannot save men's souls.)
Thanks for this Rick. Having been there myself, thankfully, the same Gospel applies to me (and others I know), and not just to those with the so-called 'normal sins'. God is so gracious and forgiving, and not a respecter of persons as many seem to be when it comes to this. Lorena

We appreciate your reminders, Brother.

ReplyDeleteChristians can't "clean" themselves up either. By the way, Christians are still sinners. Our righteousness is in Christ.
