Roman Catholicism

ROMAN CATHOLICISM

Many evangelical preachers are inviting Roman Catholic priests into their fellowship. Even Christian television sells air time to Roman Catholic priests. And when it comes to “saving America” Roman Catholic leaders are invited to stand shoulder to shoulder with evangelicals in a patriotic spirit. But just in case you were not aware of the bizarre rituals and teachings of the Roman Catholic Church, here is one blasphemy they still observe.

From Here.

The “Feast of the Queenship of Mary” was established by Pope Pius XII in 1954, and was originally celebrated on May 31st. In a radio address announcing his reasons for the occasion, he stated, “[T]he Son of God, reflects on His heavenly Mother the glory, the majesty and the dominion of His kingship, for, having been associated to the King of Martyrs in the unspeakable work of human redemption as Mother and cooperator, she remains forever associated to Him, with a practically unlimited power in the distribution of the graces which flow from the redemption.”

The Catholic television network EWTN further explained, “Pius XII added that ‘nothing is excluded from her dominion.’ As Mediatrix of all graces, who shared in earning all graces, she is, as Benedict XV said…, ‘suppliant omnipotence’: she can obtain by her intercession anything that the all-powerful God can do by His own inherent power.”

However, the date was later changed by Pope Paul VI to August 22nd, in order to place it eight days after the observance of the Assumption, a date marking Mary’s purported ascension into Heaven. Catholics believe that at the end of Mary’s life, she was received into Heaven both body and spirit. Pope Paul John Paul II explained in 2004 that when Christ said, “If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and will receive you to myself; that where I am, you may be there also,” Mary became the ‘pledge’ to the promise.

Pope Benedict stated that the placement of the Feast adjacent to the assumption demonstrates what he called “the close link between Mary’s royal nature and her glorification in body and soul beside her Son.”

“To him who rules the world and holds the destinies of the universe, we turn with confidence, through the Virgin Mary,” he said.

If you cannot see the depth of deception and heresy in this then you are completely blind. No where does the Apostle Paul ever mention Mary. You would think that the writer of most of the New Testament would at least say something, anything about Mary. But since the Roman Church believes the pope to be infallible concerning teachings of the faith, his word takes precedence over the written Scriptures. To put it in understandable language, the pope can make up anything he wants. And so they venerate Mary and make her the mediator instead of the Lord Jesus.

You have been warned. Do not be deceived, but pray for your Roman catholic friends.

  1. Trying to not to be controversial, this is apparently nothing new. Remember Rick Warren joining w/muslims? Various proclaiming Christians and ministers have stated that there is more than one way to God. Even Billy Graham stated the same.

More nonsense being foisted on the masses.

  2. even though God used Billy Graham in my life, I strongly disagree with his ecumentalism. The last days for sure.

I left the Catholic church 7 yrs ago because of Mary being a savior. That and all the begging for tithes for a new church building. So happy that I was set free from it all.

So...you post a comment regarding Catholicism straight from an anti-Catholic site, which gives no credit either regarding this, just "EWTN", but it cannot be found on the EWTN website.

Regardless, Mary is NOT seen as a savior, she is NOT seen as a goddess, she is NOT worshiped *ever* and if you don't believe that, then maybe you should look into the excommunication of some nuns in Missouri who DID start to worship Mary and the Catholic Church condemned them and excommunicated them.

Look at ACTUAL Catholic Teaching before you start condemning Catholics for things we do not believe.
