An Online Interview
On Saturday I gave an interview to an online radio station. The moderator is a godly woman named Susan Puzio. The topic was the fairy tale about America being a Christian nation.
Thank you so much for that link, Rick! It was great to listen to. I pray that Carol's eyes be opened to God's truth concerning patriotism and dominionism. Please post a link when Susan has you on as a guest again.
Also - just a comment on what you said when asked if you would defend your family. I hear you! Where I'm at now is - once I would have shot to kill to defend without question. Now - I would prayerfully shoot to injure? Does that sound really dumb? I care for my family, of course, but I also care for the person attacking - and would want to stop them not only from hurting my family for my children's sake but also for their sake. I would want to have the opportunity to give that person the gospel when all the craziness died down. (Assuming I would even have time to act and access to arms.) However - am I not trusting in God by taking up arms in defense? Maybe. And I'm very sorry for that and wish I could give a different answer. Anyway - thanks for sharing that link and may God continue to bless your ministry. Lisa
Thank you Rick for posting the link. I believe Karen? said she wrote an article on "Standing Your Ground" would like to read it.If you can post the link on your website or send it to me through email would appreciate it. The title alone "Standing Your Ground" tells me something: Matthew 16:24 Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any [man] will come after me, let him deny (reject) himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. We are to reject ourselves, what does that mean? Live as you do not exist, it is not about ourselves anymore, but follow the Lord.
Rick, I listened to the radio interview. It was very helpful in understanding that, since this world is not our home, "we" believers are not to "do" anything to fix this morally corrupt sin-laden world. The only "fix" is that individuals are drawn to and saved by Jesus Christ. His Spirit in us does a transformation that is supernatural. There is no such entity as a "christian" nation. A believer, however, cannot have dual allegiances. We are either of the Kingdom of God, looking for Our Redeemer Jesus Christ to come and take us to heaven to be with Him forever in eternity, or we are "of this world", having our hope here, wanting to do all we can to assist in this supposed improved version. This is idolatry.
You mention that Israel is a secular nation the same as any other nation on earth, and that you admit "I believe there is going to be something happening in the end for Israel". Since God does not break covenant and has made a covenant with Israel, could you explain this and as well Jeremiah 31:35-37. Also, could you explain for us the correlation between Romans Chapters 9-11, since these Chapters, speaking of Israel, follow Romans 8:38,39 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

I would rather not post the link to her website since it contains many, many things about which I disagree.
