The High Cost of War

or

The Machinery of Death

or

Bloodletting Through Lies

LOST

U.S. Troop deaths - 4,486 US troops
US Troops Wounded - 32,226
Iraqi civilian deaths - Near 100,000
Cost in dollars - 1 trillion
Emotional casualties - Many thousands
The cost of continuing healthcare for injured - probably another trillion
Perhaps another trillion in debt interest

ACCOMPLISHED

A corrupt democracy
More terrorists inside Iraq
Sectarian violence higher than under Saddam

WHAT WE WERE TOLD

Iraqis would welcome us as heroes
Iraqi oil would pay for the war
Saddam had many weapons of mass destruction
Iraq would be a shining example of democracy in the region
People’s lives would be better

SUMMARY

Deaths, wounded, lives wrecked, incredible debt, and all of it presented on a platform of lies.

War: How do you like me now?
