Thank-You Cheri for the update. Please reassure Jackie that there are many within the Body of Jesus Christ lifting her up in prayer because we love her. I have been in similar circumstances and can identify somewhat with her situation. The verses I cherished during my trying time were Psalm 57:1-3 because they reassured me God, my Father, was is control of everything.
Also, Thank-you Cheri for coming along side of Jackie and being a friend. What a wonderful witness the both of you have been to me through Pastor Frueh's blog.
The Body of Jesus Christ has no walls. It is in Him that we take our refuge.
How can one not love a brother or sister in the Lord. Although we may be continents apart or next door, love for the brethren is a blessing.
Love you too Annette and all the Glory to God. I want to thank those who prayed for me this past month, thank you and Praise and Glory to God for His tender Mercies, and His being in control. Jackie is facing a tough thing, and since she is my sister in the Lord, how can I not but be along side. God is so good to me I want to share His goodness with everyone, no matter what the cost.
I owe everything to Him. Feeling better, fever broke last night, pain is subsiding. No matter what the attack, the Lord is our healer, avenger, and Lord of all. I whole heartly believe your prayers to Him made the difference. He hears His children.
Pastor Rick's blog has allowed me the blessing of meeting so many lovely brothers and sisters in Christ, and you're right, The Body of Jesus Christ has no walls.
Orthodoxy? What is that? All I know is God and the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I try to follow everyday. I fall, but He, when I repent, picks me up. You all here make me humbled with the love expressed. Makes it easier to get through the day. Some day we will all meet when we meet Jesus.
Additional communications to me may be e-mailed to spcrick@msn.com. Any negative e-mails will be deleted without response, however sincere questions will be answered. I seek edification and deeper knowledge of Christ and His truth not a destructive and meaningless religious chatter. May God's Spirit open all of our hearts to Him.
I am an ordained Baptist minister but more importantly I am a follower of the Lord Jesus Christ. I was saved in 1975 watching Billy Graham on television after having lived a wicked and Christless life. I graduated with a three year degree from Trinity Bible College in Dunedin, Florida. I have three children, two grandsons, and one granddaughter. I not only see the obvious falling away of the present day church, but I humbly acknowledge that we all are in desperate need of a massive revival. I hope this blog ministers to you, and may Jesus Himself receive all the preeminence!
