The Lord has Risen!
The world is filled with troubles and tragedies. Bad news consumes our ears and millions around the world suffer. Most of us live in a culture which promotes selfishness and greed, and which lends itself to stress and worry. Marriages fall apart and many which survive do so with a major degree of dissatisfaction. Children either openly rebel, or after their teen years they live in spiritual apathy. The radio and television airwaves are filled with hubris, and the hosts rail on about others while either suggesting we return to the founding fathers or suggesting we abandon all sense of morality. And our daily schedules are insane with little or no time for prayer and meditation or seasons of calm spiritual reflection. In many ways we have become like robots.
But take in a deep breath because there is some good news. In fact, there is wonderful news which should consume our thoughts and drive our spirits and lift our lives above the battle and the drone of this present world.
The Lord has risen!! He has risen indeed!!

I just found your blog today and really enjoy it. I write a blog specifically to women, training them in the ways of God. I love the King James Version and use it often. You have really caused me think about my stance in politics. I love being challenged. Thank you.
